High School Senior Helpful Hints

                                

Weather you choose a funky & crazy look or a more traditional portrait, you can be certain that Hardin's will capture the look that is you.  We have a huge selection of studio backgrounds, plus several different outdoor locations to reflect your personality.

Make your appointment early to be assured of getting the time and date you want. Most schools have a yearbook deadline, therefore, it is a good idea to have pictures taken and completed during the summer months.  All totaled, time for processing previews (proofs), time to look over previews and processing the order itself is usually about 6-8 weeks with no delays. 

  On the day of your sitting we would like you to come at least 30 minutes early to pick out backgrounds and to decide what type of style you are interested in. If you are in doubt, we will help you decide what will look best with your clothing and personal items you bring.

CLOTHES

Please bring a variety of outfits!! Depending on your choice of session, one of your favorites may look better with a certain background than another. Another thing to consider is how your clothes fit.  Clothing that is too tight or too loose will not hang properly or may have too many creases.  Avoid busy patterns as they will take away from your expression. Make sure to include a classic outfit for your traditional yearbook pose.  (LONG SLEEVES always look best)  

HAIR

Hairstyle should be similar to your usual style. Fresh haircuts are not recommended.

GLASSES

Speak with you optometrist about borrowing an empty pair of frames in your style.
